Ive always wanted to go to Knowsley Safari but never had the chance to go because i don't drive until one of my mates Jake offered to take me and Sarah and i couldn't turn it down.
In the morning i decided to make a little picnic for you all to eat while looking at the animals.
My new bag full of goodies for the picnic.
I packed some Sandwiches (jam, Cheese and quorn Turkey and stuffing)
Sausage Rolls
Pringles
Chocolate (Milky buttons and Magic Stars)
and some Fruit (Strawberry's and apples).
Took us just over an hour to get there and to keep Sarah entertained we listed to some Disney songs in the car.
When we got there we paid to go in.
For an adult it was £16.50 and for a child it was £12.50
This is a picture of the map we got given at the entrance.
We decided to do the drive area first.
Some pictures of a few of the animals we saw.
Camels, Barasinghas, Pere Davids Deers, Axis Deers ,Emu, Brow antlered Deers, Painted Dogs, Lions.
At this point i was thinking this wasn't worth my money all the animals were lay down and behind fences.
Then we got to the part with all the Lioness were and this is what i wanted to see. They were just walking around as normal. One started chasing a grey squirrel (was to fast to catch on my camera)
We stayed watching the lionesses for a little bit while we had something to eat.

After are little picnic we set off again and here are a few more pictures of the other types of animals we saw.
Bongos, Rheas, Baboons, Zebras, Cape Buffalo's, White Rhinos,Black-bucks, Scimitar-Horned Oryx and Roan Antelope.
I wanted to go through the Baboon area with the car but Jack didn't want to get his car wrecked by the Baboons. So we watched them climb and fight on top of over peoples cars. They do have a bus you can get that takes you around the Baboon area but i couldn't find were you would get on it.

After the drive area we went to the walk around part and made it just in time to watch the sealion show.
The bigger one is called Biffo and is the oldest, the second biggest is called Reggie and the youngest is Rogger and he is still learning in the show. Rogger was rather funny he kept going of the stage to have a swim but that meant Reggie would go of the stage to tell him off.
This is a little video of Biffo doing a trick.
bought this poster of Rogger for Sarah was £2.50 and the money went to a charity.

After the show we went on one of the parks. Sarah loved climbing up and going on the slide she could of done it for hours. And she also made a friend.
A few pictures of the sealions.
After looking at the sealions and the park we decided to go and have a bite to eat.
I ordered 2 fish and chips for me and Jack and a chicken nuggets meal for Sarah. All together it cost about £17 and i have to say i was really disappointed. The fish tasted of nothing and the chips were a bit over cooked for my liking so i just left mine on the plate.
They also have a little theme park there it was £2 a ride or £10 for a wrist band. With the wrist band it was also free for one Adult to go on a ride with a child so to me the prices sounded ok because Sarah likes me to go on rides with her.
She liked most of the rides apart from one little roller coaster that she got scared on.

Before we headed of home we noticed they had a little train that went round a little area of the park and thought we would jump on to that to see what it was like. Here is a few pictures while we were on the train
I bought these for Sarah at the gift shop. Came to £10 all together but she loves them.
We didn't get home till about 7ish so it was a long day so we decided to just order pizza for tea and just chill in front of the tv.
I thought it was a really good day out was a bit expensive with what i spent but Sarah loved it and i would take her again but i don't think i would eat there again i would pack a full picnic and go sit in the picnic area while Sarah played on the park.
